Troops of the Operation HADIN KAI have sustained aggressive counter-terrorism operations across the North-East, recording major successes including the neutralisation of terrorists, arrests, and a surrender.
In a joint operation with the Civilian Joint Task Force, troops engaged terrorists advancing towards the Sambisa Forest axis, neutralising four insurgents and recovering an AK-47 rifle, ammunition, and logistics supplies.
Military operations across key routes such as Dambboa–Maiduguri and Dambboa–Gwoza corridors also disrupted terrorist movements, denying them freedom of action in critical areas.
In a separate operation at Kanama, troops arrested two suspected collaborators found with items believed to support terrorist logistics, alongside digital materials linking them to insurgent activities.
Additionally, one suspected member of Boko Haram/ISWAP surrendered to troops in Kukawa Local Government Area, claiming he was abducted and forced into the group. He is currently undergoing profiling and investigation.
The military reaffirmed its commitment to restoring peace and stability in the region, urging citizens to continue providing credible intelligence to support ongoing operations.
Authorities also commended troops for their resilience and called for sustained operational pressure against terrorist elements.
