Honourable Bello El-Rufai has congratulated Captain Jamil M.D. Abubakar, son of a former Inspector General of Police, on his appointment as Managing Director of Infrastructure and Logistics at the Dangote Group.
According to a media post by Honourable Bello El-Rufai, he described the appointment as a major milestone and expressed admiration for Captain Jamil, whom he referred to as a man of integrity, competence, and compassion.
El-Rufai noted that the appointment has been widely celebrated by many Nigerians, despite prevailing challenges such as envy and disunity, describing it as a proud moment for the North, the Northwest, and Zamfara State.
He further highlighted Captain Jamil’s commitment to merit-based opportunities, recalling his support for young Nigerians during the establishment of key projects within the conglomerate.
The lawmaker expressed confidence that he would serve with distinction in his new role, contributing significantly to national development.
