Human rights activist and AAC presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has described recent actions by the Federal Government as signs of desperation, insisting that they reflect weakness rather than strength.
In a strongly worded statement, Sowore claimed that the current administration is a “failing order” whose actions represent the final attempts to hold on to power in the face of growing public dissatisfaction.
According to him, Nigerians have witnessed similar political situations in the past and have ultimately prevailed against what he described as the abuse of state power.
Sowore urged his supporters, activists, and pro-democracy groups across the country to remain steadfast and committed to the struggle for justice, accountability, and democratic governance.
“I am unfazed by these developments, and neither is the momentum of our struggle,” he stated, adding that the movement for political change remains strong despite ongoing challenges.
The activist further encouraged citizens not to lose focus or succumb to intimidation, expressing confidence that those fighting for reform would eventually triumph.
