The Federal Government is celebrating Nigerian women breaking barriers in diplomacy.
From the United Nations to ECOWAS and Nigeria’s missions abroad, Nigerian women are shaping foreign policy and advancing Nigeria’s interests with distinction.
In a statement by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu says that whether negotiating trade deals, leading peace efforts, or championing the SDGs, Nigerian women have continued to embody Nigerian excellence, saying that Nigeria’s foreign policy is stronger when women’s talents are fully harnessed.
It adds that this is also a call for more mentorship and equal opportunity for the next generation. Bianca Ojukwu wishes a Happy International Day for Women in Diplomacy.
