The suspect, Ibrahim Adamu (32), was intercepted while riding a motorcycle at Damari area by troops of 2 Battalion deployed at FOB Dogon Dawa.
Items recovered from him include an AK-47 rifle magazine, mobile phones, Indian hemp, and other personal belongings.
Security sources said preliminary checks on his phone allegedly revealed images linking him to armed bandits.
The suspect has been taken into custody for further investigation.
