Salihu Mustapha, immediate past north-east vice-chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has withdrawn from the Adamawa governorship race.
Mustapha announced his withdrawal in a statement issued on Wednesday through Ahmed Sajoh, his media aide.
The former APC national working committee (NWC) member stated that the decision followed a directive from the party’s national leadership.
