A delegation of the Northwest University Kano Paid a special visit to Barau I Jibrin, the Deputy Senate President of Nigeria on Tuesday. The delegation solicited Barau’s intervention in punishing newly completed buildings, procurement of computers for effective research, learning and administration and erection of conversation arena.
In response, the DSP commended the delegation and promised adequate support. He further stated that education is part of his core missions. He said that not all leaders of an institutions of learning care to seek intervention where it is needed.
Members of the Vice-Chancellor’s delegation included the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Aisha Garba Habib; the Registrar, Dr. Adm. Isyaku Adamu; the University Bursar, Malam Salmanu Muhammad Kibiya; the Director, Advancement and Linkages, Professor Abdulmumini Yunusa; the Director of Procurement, Malam Mahmud Abubakar Sadiq; and the University Protocol Officer, Malam Abubakar Ado Gwaram.
Abubakar Ibrahim, Head of Public Relations Unit, said “the visit marks another significant step in Northwest University Kano’s drive to build strategic partnerships and attract interventions aimed at enhancing infrastructure, academic excellence, and the overall development of the institution.”
