The Nasarawa State Police Command has confirmed the safe return of all the abducted students of the Nasarawa State University.
In a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP. Ramhan Nansel, the breakthrough is due to the professionalism, resilience and unwavering commitment of the operatives
It adds that the victims who have been reunited with their families are currently receiving medical attention and necessarily support
In the meantime, following sustained intelligence – led operations and coordinated tactical efforts by operatives of the Command and sister Agencies, Two suspected kidnappers Linked to the incident have been arrested, while efforts are on to arrest other fleeing members of the syndicate
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of police Shetima Jauro Mohammed appreciates the support and cooperation of the public who’s timely information and collaboration greatly contributed to the success of the operation
