Social media activist VeryDarkMan has apologised to security operatives following remarks he made during a speech at the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) conference.
VeryDarkMan acknowledged that his comments were not fair to security personnel and expressed regret over the manner in which he addressed the issue.
The activist said his intention was not to disparage security operatives, adding that he recognised the sacrifices and challenges faced by those working to protect Nigerians.
His apology comes after his NBA speech generated reactions and sparked debate over his comments about the country’s security agencies.
