The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) original result slips, enabling candidates to begin printing the document required for admission processing.
According to JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the original result slip became available for printing on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, following the completion of key examination processes, including the mop-up examination and the processing of foreign candidates’ results.
The board explained that the original result slip contains important details such as candidates’ photographs, national rankings, examination scores, and other security features needed by universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education during admission screening.
JAMB advised candidates to print their result slips promptly and carefully verify all information contained in the document, as it forms part of the mandatory requirements for admission into tertiary institutions for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The release is expected to accelerate post-UTME registrations and admission processes across higher institutions nationwide, providing candidates with the official document needed to proceed with their applications.
Candidates can access and print the original result slip through the JAMB e-Facility portal using their registered credentials.
