A video that was posted on the official X account of Nigerian interviewer, Seun Okinbaloye on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 has captured the moment Phrank Shaibu, the Special Adviser on Public Communication to Atiku Abubakar was speaking about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This came after the President visited Saudi Arabia to pray for Nigeria. In the video that surfaced online, Phrank Shaibu criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the continuous detention of the former governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
He said President Tinubu claims he’s a Muslim and yet he’s keeping a fellow Muslim in detention. Phrank Shaibu said Nigerians will not vote for the President just because he travelled to Saudi Arabia to pray.
According to Phrank Shaibu;
“No second term can be given to anybody via a spiritual claim. If Bola Tinubu has the sincerity of faith, he will not keep Nasir El-Rufai, a fellow Muslim in detention over minor political disagreement”.
