The Delta state high court has ordered the remand of Usman Nuhu, a police officer accused of fatally shooting Oghenemine Mene Ogidi, a 28-year-old singer widely known as OG Millan, in the Effurun area of the state.

The case gained public attention in April following the spread of a viral video on social media. The footage appeared to show the musician being restrained by an officer affiliated with the Delta state police command before being shot. In the clip, the victim is seen seated on the ground with his hands bound behind his back using a rope.

The video triggered widespread outrage, with many Nigerians calling for the prosecution of the officer involved and justice for the deceased.
