The jacket carried the bold message “BRING THEM HOME” on the back, in what many Nigerians have described as a powerful call for urgent action over the continued captivity of the schoolchildren and teachers.
Davido’s gesture comes amid growing national outrage over the abduction of pupils and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The singer had earlier expressed heartbreak over the incident, joining other Nigerians in calling for the safe return of the victims.
His message has since sparked reactions online, with many praising him for using a global stage to draw attention to Nigeria’s worsening insecurity crisis.
