The Coalition for National Unity and Youth Development (CNUYD), a civil society organisation (CSO), has asked the federal government to suspend the proposed reforms to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
In a statement issued on Sunday, the CSO warned that altering the scheme’s traditional structure could undermine its role in promoting national unity, discipline and emergency service.
