The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially commenced the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the 2027 general elections at its National Secretariat in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.
The party headquarters came alive with heightened political activity on Tuesday, as prominent aspirants and their representatives converged to obtain nomination documents—an early indication of a fiercely contested electoral season ahead.
Leading the exercise, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, represented by James Faleke, purchased and collected the presidential nomination form, formally setting in motion his re-election bid.
In the governorship race, Engr. Mustapha Gubio secured the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for Borno State, underscoring growing participation across strategic states.
Similarly, representatives of Agbu Kefas and Dauda Lawal obtained the required forms on their behalf, reflecting mounting political engagement ahead of the party’s primaries.
Additionally, candidates from Nasarawa, Bauchi, Adamawa, Abia, Kano, and other states have also purchased and picked up Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms, further highlighting the widespread interest and participation across the country.
The commencement of the nomination process marks a pivotal step in APC’s build-up to the 2027 general elections, with intensified consultations, alignments, and campaign activities expected to gather pace in the coming weeks.
