The house of representatives has issued a seven-day ultimatum to the programme coordinator of the hydrocarbon pollution remediation project (HYPREP) to appear before its public accounts committee.
The ultimatum follows findings of alleged financial mismanagement involving more than N400 billion contained in the 2021 and 2024 audit reports of the office of the auditor-general of the federation.
The ultimatum was issued after the committee adopted a resolution at a public hearing on Tuesday, which was attended by 27 members.
