The national publicity secretary of the African Democratic Congress, Mal. Bolaji Abdullahi, has said the party would win the 2027 presidential election.
Abdullahi who is also the leader of the party in Kwara State added that the party would also emerge victorious in the state’s governorship election come 2027.
He spoke with newsmen on the sidelines of the Eid-el- Kabir get- together he held for ADC stakeholder and members in Ilorin, Kwara State.
The new chairman of the ADC, Hon. Babatunde Mohammed was unveiled at the event.
Abdullahi who clarified that ADC will not collapse into any of the existing parties, formed before it for election victory, however said that the party would welcome alliance with any of the parties based on political ideology.
He also said the party would embrace members from other parties willing to join the opposition party, adding that, “our door is wide open”.
He added that the ADC government would implement union programmes across the states just like the defunct Unity Party of Nigeria ( UPN)did in the Second Republic.
Abdulahi said that the party parades credible candidates for the state House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate and governorship, elections, adding that members of the party in the state are increasing on daily basis.
Abdullahi urged the electorate to rally round the party in the 2027 general elections to ensure the rescue of the country from the prevalent insecurity and economic challenges.
