Yunusa Tanko, the spokesman to the former governor of Anambra State and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has taken to his official X handle to react after his principal was spotted addressing a large gathering of policymakers in Berlin, Germany.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle on Wednesday July 16th, 2026 he pointed out that by giving Nigeria the right image abroad, the former governor had done excellently well.
Peter Obi, it can be recalled, in a now viral post which was published on his verified X account, had disclosed that he was invited to be a speaker at the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR).
During the meeting, according to the former Anambra State governor, he spoke about the way forward for Nigeria. He also held discussions with investors, who expressed interest in the Nigerian market.
Yunusa Tanko, while commending the former Anambra State governor for his dexterity and concern for Nigeria’s growth, made it known that his decision to project the country in good light was unprecedented.
He maintained that what was done in the meeting in Berlin, Germany was what the former Anambra State governor knew how to do best.
