Troops carrying out clearance operations from Bukuyum town in Zamfara state have clashed with “fleeing armed bandits” during an ongoing military operation in the Tsilligidi forest area.
Security sources told Zagazola Makama, the counter-insurgency publication focused on the Lake Chad region, that several of the bandits were killed during the encounter.
