Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have arrested suspected terrorist informants and logistics suppliers, received the surrender of a suspected member of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), and destroyed improvised explosive devices (IEDs) during operations conducted across Borno State in the last 24 hours.

According to military authorities, the operations targeted insurgent activities in different parts of the state as part of ongoing counterterrorism efforts in the North-East.

The military said the troops also recovered and safely disposed of IEDs believed to have been planted by terrorists, while investigations into the arrested suspects are ongoing.

Operation HADIN KAI reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining offensive operations against insurgent groups and urged residents to continue providing credible intelligence to support security efforts across the region.
