In his declaration speech, “Adamawa Rising,” Ahmed Galadima Aminu made a clear commitment to women and inclusive prosperity: women-owned businesses would receive greater access to finance, skills and markets, alongside stronger support for girl-child education and vulnerable households.

This is not a mere declaration or another campaign promise. It is a central component of the Adamawa Rising; a comprehensive policy direction designed to sustain and expand the development gains of the administration of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri while introducing fresh ideas, innovation and new thinking into the governance of Adamawa State from May 2027, by the grace of Almighty Allah.

Ahmed Galadima Aminu is offering to bring to government his established record of integrity, competence and wisdom, reinforced by decades of experience in public service and institutional leadership. The TAG–Kamale ticket therefore approaches women’s empowerment not merely as a social intervention, but as an important pillar of economic development.

Under this vision, women-owned businesses and enterprises will receive greater financial and technical support, helping women to establish, expand and sustain productive ventures. The objective goes beyond empowering individual entrepreneurs. When a woman-owned enterprise succeeds, the benefits extend to households, employees, suppliers, local markets and entire communities. That is the essence of inclusive prosperity: economic growth whose benefits reach ordinary families.

There is also a powerful connection between women’s economic empowerment and girl-child education. Productive, modern and sustainable girl-child education becomes much more difficult when families are struggling with the basic necessities of life. Poverty can force households to make painful choices between education and immediate survival. Strengthening the economic capacity of women, who are often central to household welfare, can therefore strengthen the ability of families to keep their daughters in school and invest in their future.

This is why the TAG–Kamale vision connects women-owned businesses, household prosperity and girl-child education. They are not isolated policies; they are interconnected parts of a broader development strategy.

Educate and empower the girl-child, and you strengthen the future workforce, leadership and productive capacity of Adamawa State. That is development with a multiplier effect.

The Adamawa Rising recognises that prosperity cannot be considered inclusive when women, girls, persons with disabilities, vulnerable households or rural communities are left behind. Development must reach beyond statistics and government projects; it must translate into stronger businesses, better livelihoods, greater opportunities and dignity for families.

Women must therefore be at the heart of Adamawa’s next phase of economic expansion. From women traders and farmers to entrepreneurs, professionals, artisans and young innovators, the objective is to create an environment in which women have greater access to the capital, knowledge, skills and markets necessary to transform small ventures into sustainable enterprises.

Ahmed Galadima Aminu’s Adamawa Rising is therefore more than a declaration speech. It is a policy document, a development blueprint structured around productivity, inclusion and measurable prosperity.

In the TAG-Kamale journey, Adamawa’s women will not be spectators, they will be entrepreneurs, wealth creators, partners in development and major drivers of the state’s prosperity.

That is why the TAG–Kamale Ticket is for Women and Inclusive Prosperity.
