The Northern Senators Forum has condemned the barbaric attack on Binari community in Karim-Lamido Local Government Area of Taraba State last weekend.
The statement by Chairman of the Forum, Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua described the killing of worshippers, women and children after Juma’at prayers on Friday as shocking and inhuman.
It called for a comprehensive security surge in the Karim-Lamido and River Benue corridor, including establishment of a Forward Operating Base along the Kompany-Asusar route.
The Forum also urged NEMA to deliver relief materials as it demands the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators.
