Peter Obi, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has implored Nigerians to rise against “one-party system” and defend the country’s democracy.
The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election spoke ahead of a planned protest at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja.
His comment comes amid the ongoing leadership crisis gripping the ADC, with three factions laying claim to the party’s leadership, including the David Mark and Nafiu Bala groups.
