Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, has donated a car and 10 motorcycles to a political support group in Zamfara State as part of his empowerment programme. The vehicles were presented on Saturday, October 10, to the group led by Alhaji Salisu Dawa.
Matawalle was represented at the presentation by Builder Ibrahim Isa Mayana, chairman of his political movement in Zamfara. According to the minister’s political committee, the donation is intended to ease transportation challenges and help members reach communities across the state.
The minister said the gesture was in appreciation of the group’s loyalty to his political movement and the All Progressives Congress (APC). He also commended members for their commitment to party activities and campaigning within and outside Zamfara.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Dawa thanked Matawalle, saying the vehicles would improve the group’s mobility and coordination of political engagements. The minister reportedly described the donation as part of his ongoing support for followers and said it would not be the last.
