Former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has welcomed a group of defectors from Madobi Local Government Area who left the All Progressives Congress (APC) to join the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
In a statement, Kwankwaso expressed delight over the defection and assured the new members of equal treatment and fair opportunities within the party. He said the NDC remains committed to building an inclusive political platform for all members.
Kwankwaso added that the party continues to grow stronger with the influx of new members and remains focused on expanding its support base ahead of future political activities.
