According to a report by Punch, The Kogi State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has praised Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as one of the most effective representatives the state has produced since the return to democratic rule in 1999.
Speaking on Friday in Lokoja while hosting a delegation of party members, Gambo called on constituents in Kogi Central to rally behind the senator and support her bid for a second term in 2027. He described her as an exceptional politician whose style of leadership has increased the state’s visibility and attracted meaningful development.
According to him, Akpoti-Uduaghan has demonstrated unwavering loyalty to the PDP and has continued to strengthen party structures across Kogi State through consistent engagement and support.
Gambo commended her leadership qualities, noting that she commands respect among party members and plays a central role in guiding the party at the state level. He added that her contributions in the 10th National Assembly have already set her apart, even within her first term in office.
He further stated that her performance has brought Kogi Central into national focus, insisting that her re-election would allow for continuity and greater achievements. Gambo argued that replacing her would disrupt progress, describing her as part of a “winning team” that should be sustained.
Highlighting her constituency efforts, the PDP chairman pointed to various empowerment initiatives targeting widows, youths, and small business owners.
He also mentioned her distribution of vehicles, tools, and educational materials, alongside infrastructure projects such as road construction, school development, and market upgrades.
Gambo urged party members to remain united in their support, describing the senator as a strong unifying force whose influence continues to grow across Kogi Central.
