Festus Keyamo, minister of aviation and aerospace development, says Nigeria is ready for aviation financing and fleet expansion partnerships.
Keyamo spoke on Wednesday at the Nigerian aircraft acquisition and investment summit (NAAIS) 2026, held in Lagos.
The event themed, “Unlocking Capital, Confidence, and Capacity in Nigerian Aviation,” brought together government officials, industry players and investors.
He said lack of access to affordable and dependable aircraft financing has, for decades, constrained Nigerian airlines, limiting fleet renewal, route expansion, competitiveness and operational efficiency.
