Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has called on President Bola Tinubu to raise the minimum wage, saying the current N70,000 income floor is inadequate to meet Nigerian workers’ needs amid rising living costs.
Atiku, presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), also backed organised labour’s demand for a substantial increase in workers’ pay.
