The Association of Legislative Drafting and Advocacy Practitioners (ALDRAP) has asked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to disqualify Kingsley Chinda as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Rivers state in the 2027 election.
In a letter dated September 26 and signed by Tonye Jaja, its executive secretary, ALDRAP asked INEC to convene an urgent meeting with the association, the APC and Chinda to explore an out-of-court settlement of a pending suit challenging aspects of his nomination.
