According to a report by Nigerian Tribune on Saturday, October 3, 2026, vice presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has said he is ready to face anyone who can prove that he engaged in corrupt practices during his time in government.
Amaechi made the statement during an interview on Channels Television on Friday, where he responded to questions about his service under former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The former Minister of Transportation served in Buhari’s administration for eight years and was one of the former President’s prominent political allies.
