Yul Edochie, the Nollywood actor, has declared that he does not need to win an Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) to validate his talent.
Speaking on the Honest Bunch podcast, Edochie brushed aside suggestions that the lack of an AMVCA trophy diminishes his standing in the industry.
According to him, the opinion of a select group of people cannot define his worth as an actor.
“You cannot contest it. Performances that I have dropped four, five, six years ago no actor has been able to replicate it till date,” he boasted.
