Dangote Petroleum Refinery has dismissed allegations that its petroleum products are exported to Lomé, Togo, and subsequently re-imported into Nigeria, describing the claims as false and unsupported by commercial realities.
The refinery’s statement comes after claims that Nigerian marketers were increasingly importing Dangote-refined products through the offshore trading hub in Lomé, Togo, before bringing them back into the country.
