Civil society organisations, Enough is Enough (EiE) Nigeria and CivicHive, have raised concerns over the “inaccessibility” of key digital platforms managed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
In separate letters addressed to Joash Amupitan, INEC Chairman, the CSOs demanded urgent clarification and improved transparency over challenges affecting the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) and IReV portals.
In its letter dated April 15, 2026, EiE Nigeria said it had received multiple reports from citizens across the country who were unable to complete voter registration, book appointments, or replace lost or damaged permanent voter cards (PVCs).
