A bill sponsored by Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin seeking to establish a comprehensive legal framework for the transformation and modernisation of Nigeria’s agricultural sector has passed second reading in the senate.
The passage of the bill came 24 hours after disagreements over its scope and access to copies of the proposed legislation.
