The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, says Nigeria’s banking sector raised N4.65 trillion in fresh capital through its recapitalisation exercise, while headline inflation declined to 14.63 per cent in September.
The CBN Governor, Olayemi Cardoso, said this at a news briefing following Nigeria’s participation in the 2026 Annual Meetings of the IMF/World Bank Group in Bangkok, Thailand on Saturday.
