The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed the governor of Imo State and chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), Senator Hope Uzodimma, as chairman of the party’s 73-member Central Coordination Committee for its 2026 National Convention.
APC, in a post on its X named the
governor of Kwara State and chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, as vice chairman while the governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, has been appointed secretary of the committee.
According to the post, all governors of the party, the president and deputy president of Senate; speaker and deputy speaker of the House of Representatives and principal officers of both chambers of the National Assembly who belong to APC are members of the panel.
It also showed that all former national chairmen of APC; all former presidents and deputy presidents of Senate; speakers and deputy speakers of the House of Representatives and principal officers of National who belong to the party are members of the committee.
The post stated that the committee will be inaugurated at a yet-to-be announced date.
