National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, has received the DTN@100 Politician of the Year Award ahead of Daily Times Nigeria’s 100th anniversary celebration on September 3.
Yilwatda received the commemorative package from Daily Times Nigeria Publisher, Fidelis Anosike. The package includes a 1960 edition of the Daily Times newspaper, an award certificate and a commemorative plaque.
The APC chairman described the recognition as a reminder of his journey in public service and leadership, saying the honour comes with a renewed sense of responsibility to continue working for a stronger, united, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.
He expressed gratitude to the management and entire Daily Times family for the recognition, describing it as a special privilege to be honoured by an institution with a century-long history in Nigeria’s media and public discourse.
Yilwatda said he looks forward to joining Anosike, the Daily Times family and other distinguished Nigerians on September 3 to celebrate the newspaper’s 100-year legacy.
