Nigerian singer Davido says he has not yet settled on a presidential candidate to back in 2027.
Speaking in an interview on News Central in August, the ‘Assurance’ hitmaker said while Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun, his uncle, has thrown his weight behind President Bola Tinubu, he feels no obligation to do the same.
The Grammy-nominated Afrobeats star traced his past political alignments to family ties. He said he backed Atiku Abubakar during their time in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and threw his support behind the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015, when the party was formed through a merger and his late uncle was part of it.
