The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has defended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the country’s security challenges, saying the President has played his part in addressing insecurity.

Speaking on the issue, Adeboye said, “He’s done his bit,” while urging Nigerians to continue praying for the nation and its leaders.

The respected cleric acknowledged that insecurity remains a major concern across parts of the country but stressed that tackling the problem requires collective efforts beyond government alone.

His remarks have sparked mixed reactions among Nigerians, with some agreeing that security challenges require the support of citizens, security agencies, and community leaders, while others argue that the government must continue to intensify efforts to protect lives and property.

Nigeria has continued to face security threats, including banditry, kidnapping, terrorism, and communal violence in various parts of the country, making the issue one of the key concerns for citizens.
