The International Energy Agency (IEA) says Nigeria’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) deliveries rose by around 30 percent year-on-year between January and October to their highest level since 2020.
According to the IEA Global Gas Security Review 2026, released on Tuesday, Nigeria provided additional LNG to international markets following the escalation of the Middle East crisis and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
