The official flag-off of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election mobilisation in Kaduna State on Saturday, October 24, 2026, has brought renewed attention to the growing activities of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement at the national level and the role of Bala Maijama’a Wunti in advancing the President’s re-election campaign. The Kaduna gathering represents another important stage in the movement’s efforts to expand its reach, strengthen grassroots participation and consolidate support for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections. Furthermore, the massive supporters that Bala Wunti mobilised from Bauchi State have added flavour to the occasion.
As one of the Conveners and a Member of the Board of Trustees of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement at the national level, Wunti occupies a position within the organisation’s national leadership structure in advancing President Tinubu’s re-election bid. The movement was founded by High Chief Dr. Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, a prominent Niger Delta leader, businessman, the Ibe-Ebidouwei of the Ijaw Nation, who serves as the movement’s Founder and Convener and provides leadership for its nationwide grassroots mobilisation in support of President Tinubu’s re-election.
