FCT Police operatives have arrested two suspected members of a “one-chance” robbery syndicate during an operation around Court of Appeal Junction in Abuja.
The suspects, identified as 41-year-old Okwudili Benjamin and 37-year-old Chinedu Mbaka, were arrested on Sunday, September 20, 2026, after police intercepted them in a Toyota Camry.
Police said nine Android phones, pliers, a wheel lock and other exhibits were recovered from the vehicle during the operation.
Further investigation led to the arrest of Osondu Benard, described by police as an alleged receiver, at NPC Junction, Nyanya.
The three suspects remain in custody as investigations continue into their alleged activities and possible links to other members of the syndicate.
