Troops of the 4 demonstration battalion have commenced surveillance operations as members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) begin their annual religious procession in Kaduna state.
According to Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency publication focused on the Lake Chad region, troops observed a large group of IMN members along the Kano–Kaduna expressway in Makarfi LGA at about 7:30 am on Saturday.
