German automobile giant Mercedes-Benz has reportedly taken legal action against Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen over an alleged unpaid vehicle leasing debt.

According to reports, the case is linked to a luxury car lease agreement signed during Osimhen’s time in Italy, with claims that he failed to meet payment obligations tied to the deal. The alleged arrears are estimated at about €90,000 (approximately ₦142 million).

The complaint was reportedly filed by Mercedes-Benz Financial Services in Milan, with additional claims that the vehicle involved was not returned at the end of the lease period.

The matter has been described as a contractual dispute that has escalated into legal proceedings, although neither Osimhen nor his representatives have publicly responded to the allegations as of the time of reporting.

Despite the off-field issue, Osimhen remains a key figure for both club and country, continuing to deliver strong performances on the pitch.
