Bolaji Abdullahi, the spokesman of the African Democratic Congress, ADC has taken to his official X handle to send a strong message across over the comments made by the senior special adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the ADC was simply not following unlawful whistles.
Bayo Onanuga, the senior special adviser on Information and Strategy recently caused a stir after he sent a strong message across to the African Democratic Congress, ADC following the de-recognition of the party leadership by INEC.
The special adviser, in his viral remarks, pointed out that the ADC was not only lawless, but a party headed for oblivion. He described the ADC as lost dog in the forest that ignores the hunter’s whistles.
“Just continue your illegality, the lawless ADC. The dog that wants to get lost in the forest will ignore the hunter’s whistles.” Bayo Onanuga had said.
Bolaji Abdullahi, the spokesman of the ADC in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle on Saturday April 4th, 2026 described the comments by the special adviser as unnecessary.
According to his statements, he pointed out that the APC not no rights to judge the ADC, arguing that the party was not lost, but only refusing to follow unlawful procedures.
He used the proverb, ‘the forest hides that which hunts the hunter’ to dismiss the assertions made by Bayo Onanuga.
