The overall highest scorer in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), Daniella Owoeye Jesudunsin, has been awarded a ₦1 million scholarship in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement.
Daniella, who scored an impressive 372 out of 400 in the 2026 UTME, received the scholarship from the Ekiti Parapo Association of Indiana, USA. She expressed gratitude to the association, her family, and well-wishers for celebrating her success and supporting her educational journey.
The brilliant student, an indigene of Erinmope-Ekiti who sat for the examination in Ogun State, described the award as a memorable moment and thanked everyone who contributed to making the occasion special. She said the recognition has inspired her to continue striving for excellence.
The scholarship has been widely praised as a reward for hard work and academic excellence, with many Nigerians urging more organisations to support outstanding students across the country.
