11 killed, 50 houses burnt in ‘communal clash’ in Nasarawa
Suspected “hoodlums” have killed at least 11 people and burnt more than 50 houses in the Akyawa and Udege Kasa communities of Nasarawa LGA in Nasarawa state.
Ramhan Nansel, public relations officer of the Nasarawa police command, said in a statement on Saturday that the communal attack occurred on Friday and was a reprisal over the alleged killing of two of the assailants’ kinsmen.
