The African Action Congress (AAC), led by its presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has asked President Bola Tinubu to approve the use of the Presidential Villa in Abuja for its campaign council inauguration ahead of the 2027 elections.
In a letter dated October 21, the party proposed November 11 for the event and requested food, drinks and other logistical support for 5,000 participants expected from Nigeria and abroad.
The AAC said the request was based on fairness and equal treatment of political parties, citing similar arrangements reportedly granted to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
