The Nigeria Legion, Nasarawa State Command, working with troops of Operation Whirl Stroke, has arrested a 42-year-old man identified as Alu Seadu from Bukan Sidi, Lafia LGA, over alleged involvement in armed robbery and kidnapping.
Seadu was arrested on Saturday, September 19, 2026, during a joint security operation. Preliminary investigations also found that his claim of being a serving Nigerian Army personnel could not be established by security authorities.
Several items were reportedly recovered from the suspect during the operation and have been taken into consideration as investigators examine his activities and possible links to other criminal operations.
The suspect remains in custody as security agencies continue investigations into his identity, alleged crimes and possible connections to criminal networks in the area.
