Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has said the current ₦70,000 minimum wage is inadequate to meet the needs of Nigerian workers amid rising living costs.
Keyamo’s comment highlights the growing pressure on wages as Nigerians continue to grapple with the cost of food, transportation, housing and other essential goods and services.
The ₦70,000 minimum wage was introduced under the Federal Government’s new minimum wage framework following negotiations with organised labour.
